Welcome to my website for cream legbars. I have been keeping poultry for over 5 years and started out with a few hens in the back garden for some fresh eggs.
I first became interested in Cream Legbars when I was given some eggs to hatch for a friend as a fertility test. Unfortunately as I later found out from a now good friend the resulting pullets weren't correct according to the breed standards, infact one of them didn't even have a crest.
Through a few good 'legbar' friends I managed to find some decent stock to breed a good standard of bird with, this is how my interest in Cream Legbars began.
Many people say they have Cream Legbars but there are very few that meet the breed standard. There are alot of Cream Legbars out there that are gold in their neck hackle when this should be cream and the cockerels tend to be far too colourful.
I have been trying to improve my birds for the last 3 years and finally this year I have managed to breed a few very good pullets. They have been shown at the National Championship Show and the Federation Championship show receiving 1st & 2nd place in their class. They have won Rosette's for Best Autosexing and Best Crested, you can find some pictures on my show page.
My mission is to encourage people to buy and breed decent stock and try and get this rare breed of poultry back on track.

Cream Legbar's are not to be confused with Cotswold Legbars which have never been recognised as a pure breed by the poultry club of Great Britain.
